DAVID Documentation: Related Evidence

Related Evidence provides the list of terms (for related genes) or list of genes (for related terms) that were used to calculate the Kappa similarity score.

  1. Gene List
    Current gene list selected for view and background species being analyzed.
  2. Help and Switch to Classic Version
    Link to this help page and provides access to the legacy Gene List Report interface.
  3. Contingency Table
    Calculated Kappa value between two terms (or genes for related genes) is shown in the top left corner. This table provides the number of genes (or terms if related genes) shared between two terms (or genes if related genes), how many are in one and not the other, and how many are not associated with either term.
  4. Term A
    Click the term name to be directed to the original resources for further details.
  5. Term B
    Click the term name to be directed to the original resources for further details.
  6. Number of genes
    Values in the table correspond to the number of genes. Click the value to show a list of the genes corresponding to each term. For example, the bottom left value would show all genes that are associated with Term A, but NOT Term B.
  7. Tabs
    Click the tabs to show gene results for the corresponding relationship, same as clicking values in the table.
  8. The search box filters all table results in real time and the number of records is displayed.
  9. Export Options
    Results can be exported using Copy, Excel, CSV, or PDF. Exports reflect the current filtered and sorted view.
  10. Gene
    Click the column header to sort the genes in ascending or descending order. Click the gene name link to explore the full gene report. For more information, see the Gene Report documentation page.
